Kasganj, July 22 -- A police sub-inspector lost his life after being struck by an unidentified vehicle early Tuesday morning, according to police sources.
The victim, identified as Sub-Inspector Prahlad Singh, was the in-charge of the Kachla police post in Kasganj district. He had gone out for a morning walk from the post towards Gola Kuan when the tragic incident occurred.
When Singh failed to return after a considerable time, his colleagues launched a search. His body was later discovered in the bushes beneath a culvert near Gola Kuan.The body has been sent for post-mortem examination to ascertain the exact cause of death.
