Lucknow, July 15 -- The family of astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla expressed relief and gratitude today following his safe return to Earth after completing the Axiom Mission-4 aboard the SpaceX Dragon spacecraft.
Shubhanshu's parents, Asha and Shambhu Dayal Shukla, watched the live telecast of his landing at CMS College Auditorium in Lucknow. His mother, Asha, was seen in tears, resting her head on her husband's shoulder, as the spacecraft carrying their son came down.
"It feels like Subhanshu has been born again," said Asha, overwhelmed with emotions.
