Nuh, July 14 -- Haryana Police today placed Bittu Bajrangi, chief of the Gau Raksha Bajrang Force and an accused in the 2023 Nuh violence case, under house arrest in Faridabad to prevent his entry into Nuh amid heightened tensions.

The move comes hours after a roadside shrine (mazaar) in the region was reportedly demolished, triggering local unease.

Bajrangi, who was earlier booked for inflammatory videos during last year's clashes, is currently out on bail. He had sought permission to attend the Brajmandal Jalabhishek Yatra, but the administration denied the request, citing law and order concerns.
