New Delhi, Sept. 13 -- Multiple gunshots were fired outside Bollywood actress Disha Patani's ancestral home in Bareilly's Civil Lines area, prompting a high-level police investigation.
The actor's father, Jagdish Patani, has filed a formal complaint with the police. Following the incident, the Dhelana brothers, Virendra and Mahendra, have claimed responsibility for the attack.
In response, the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) has formed five special teams, including units from the Special Operations Group (SOG), to probe the case.
An FIR is being registered, and authorities are working to determine the full motive and scope of the attack.
