Nalchik, July 4 -- A shooting took place on Friday in the center of Nalchik, and there are people injured, a source in the law enforcement agencies of Russia's Kabardino-Balkaria told Sputnik.
"At about 6:00 p.m. Moscow time [15:00 GMT], a shooting occurred in the center of Nalchik, on Lenin Avenue. According to preliminary data, there are people injured," the source said.
The shooting occurred during the arrest of suspects, the source added.
