Darbhanga , Feb. 23 -- Union agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan assured all possible help to Fox nut growers and took details of its cultivation.
Chauhan reached the Fox nut (Makhana) Research Centre here on Sunday and took details of the technical know-how of Makhana cultivation from the farmers.
Chauhan also stepped into the ponds to learn about the Makhana cultivation from the farmers who also apprised him about the production by the size of the pond.
Earlier Chauhan was warmly welcomed by Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary, Darbhanga MP Gopalji Thakur, and other dignitaries after he arrived in Darbhanga.
