Bengaluru, Jan. 14 -- Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister and Pradesh Congress Committee president DK Shivakumar on Wednesday said he would be visiting New Delhi on January 16 and clarified that his meeting with Lok Sabha Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi was strictly in accordance with protocol, dismissing speculation about any change in the Chief Ministership in the state.

Speaking to reporters after receiving Rahul Gandhi at Mysuru airport, Shivakumar said, "I am Karnataka's Congress president and he is the Leader of the Opposition. These meetings and talks are as per protocol.
