Belagavi, Dec. 19 -- The investigation into the National Herald case has intensified as Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar confirmed he will appear before the Delhi Police next week to provide information sought by authorities.

The case, registered on October 3, involves Congress leaders Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi, with the Economic Offences Wing (EOW) seeking critical financial and transactional details.

Shivakumar, who is also the state Congress chief, said he would comply after the ongoing legislature session. He has recently requested a copy of the FIR from the Delhi Police to stay informed about the proceedings.
