Bengaluru, Aug. 5 -- Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar today said that a crucial 19-kilometre stretch required for a major rail infrastructure project has received long-awaited clearance, paving the way for accelerated implementation. Speaking to reporters, Shivakumar said, "Just that day, we got the permission. It's a moment of necessity, and the time has come to start work. Though resources are difficult to find, this phase will be completed within a year."
