Bengaluru, Jan. 24 -- Leader of the Opposition in the Karnataka Legislative Council and BJP MLC, Chalavadi Narayanswamy, today said that Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar has no real authority as Chief Minister Siddaramaiah is not willing to vacate his position and the party high command continues to back him, amid a reported leadership tussle between the two leaders.

Speaking to reporters here, Narayanswamy referred to media reports of an ongoing power struggle between Siddaramaiah and Shivakumar over leadership in the State.
