Bengaluru, Aug. 25 -- Senior Congress leader BK Hariprasad today said Deputy Chief Minister and Karnataka party President DK Shivakumar, who rendered the RSS anthem in the Karnataka Assembly recently, would have been expected to apologise if he had done such an act in his capacity as the state Congress chief.
Hariprasad said such conduct coming from the state Congress chief is "unacceptable".
Addressing the media, Hariprasad said, "As Deputy Chief Minister, Shivakumar's actions in the Assembly do not raise objections from us because the government represents all 7 crore people of Karnataka, including members of various organisations. But if he were to perform such an act as Congress President, he would have to apologise. It is inappropria...
