Bengaluru, Aug. 14 -- In an unusual alignment across the political aisle, Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar today adopted the BJP's narrative on the Dharmasthala mass burial row, calling it a "well-planned conspiracy" to malign the temple town and its Dharmadhikari, Dr Veerendra Heggade. Speaking in the Assembly, Shivakumar accused unnamed forces of orchestrating a smear campaign. "This is a well-planned conspiracy to tarnish someone.
