Bengaluru, Sept. 30 -- Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar today challenged union Minister HD Kumaraswamy to a public debate, accusing him of making baseless "hit and run" allegations. Speaking to reporters at the KPCC office and Vidhana Soudha, Shivakumar said the media should facilitate an open forum where both can present evidence supporting their claims.
Shivakumar responded to Kumaraswamy's remarks suggesting he may face jail, saying, "Only judges have the authority to send someone to jail. Kumaraswamy is talking like a judge, but he himself is appearing in court for several of his cases.
