Bengaluru, Oct. 31 -- Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar today hit back at Bengaluru South BJP MP Tejasvi Surya, calling him "childish" and "waste material", after the young parliamentarian urged the government to drop the multi-crore tunnel road project proposed to ease city traffic.
Shivakumar and Surya have been at odds over the project - while the Congress leader insists the tunnel road is vital to tackle congestion, Surya has argued that the funds should instead be diverted to expand the Metro network and improve public transport.
