Bengaluru, Feb. 19 -- Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar on Monday alleged that State JDS President HD Kumaraswamy was making offers to Congress MLAs to vote against party candidates in the upcoming Rajya Sabha elections on February 27.

"We know whom he (Kumaraswamy) is calling, what is he talking about, and who he is threatening. Our MLAs have informed us about the offers made to them. We are also aware of the BJP's strategy," he told reporters here.

Shivakumar also alleged that the NDA has fielded a fifth candidate for the Rajya Sabha polls to woo Congress MLAs with offers to cross-vote against party candidates.
