Mumbai, Dec. 12 -- The Shiv Sena in Saamana's Thursday editorial questioned why the government was ignoring infiltration attempts from Pakistan, even as India is preparing for granting citizenship to refugees.

It alleged that the government's claim of situation being fine in Kashmir after revocation of Article 370 has proved wrong as there have been "84 infiltration bids" from Pakistan and "59 terrorists" entered India since scrapping of the special status of Jammu and Kashmir in August.

"An atmosphere is being built for granting citizenship to refugees, but will the government open its eyes to address this (issue of infiltration)?" the Sena asked.
