Mumbai, Dec. 15 -- Shiv Sena (Thackeray faction) leader and former city Mayor Kishori Pednekar today criticised the State Election Commission of Maharashtra saying that holding a press conference to correct irregularities in the voters' lists is appropriate, but directly announcing election dates without resolving those issues would be "dragging the process unfairly".
Her remarks come ahead of the SEC's press conference today, where the dates for municipal corporation elections in Maharashtra were announced.
