Pune, Dec. 26 -- Shiv Sena (Shinde faction) on Friday demanded a greater share of seats in the Vadgaon Sheri area for the upcoming Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) elections.
Shiv Sena Pune sub-city organiser Uddhav Galande stated that at least two seats should be allotted to the Shinde faction in Ward No. 5, citing the party's long-standing strength and representation in the area.
Despite the BJP-Shiv Sena alliance for the PMC elections, discussions suggesting fewer seats for the Shiv Sena (Shinde faction) have caused unease among party workers. Against this backdrop, Galande raised the demand at a press conference held at his office in Vadgaon Sheri.
