Sindhudurg, Nov. 27 -- In a dramatic political development in Sindhudurg of Maharashtra, BJP office-bearer Vijay Kinjwadekar's residence was allegedly raided by Shiv Sena (Shinde faction) MLA Nilesh Rane today, sparking tensions in the coastal district ahead of local body elections.
During this unexpected visit, Rane claimed to have found an undeclared sum of Rs 25 lakh packed inside a green bag. He alleged that the cash was meant to be used as inducements for voters in the upcoming municipal elections.
