Shimla, Feb. 18 -- In a swift display of operational efficiency, the solved two significant cases within 24 hours recovering a stolen scooter and safely rescuing a missing person who narrowly escaped exposure to extreme cold.
Superintendent of Police Gaurav Singh disclosed in a press release on Wednesday said that an Activa scooter reported stolen has been successfully traced.
The case (FIR No. 13/26 dated February 14, 2026) was registered under Section 303(2) of the Indian Penal Code following a complaint by Kehar Singh, a resident of Devidhar village in Shimla district.
Acting on leads, the Police Outpost Jangla recovered the stolen Activa (PB65 AM7852) near Shagru in Koyla (Ranol) village.
