Shimla, Sept. 27 -- Shimla's iconic Gaiety Theatre resonated with nostalgia and melody as the hill capital paid a grand tribute to the evergreen legend Dev Anand on his 102nd birth anniversary.
The special programme, "Dev Anand - A Storytelling and Musical Tribute", was presented by Delhi's oldest theatre group, Three Arts Club, in collaboration with Katyayani. For the club, which was founded in Shimla in 1943, last evening also marked an emotional homecoming after more than eight decades.
The tribute was researched, written, directed and narrated by Sohaila Kapur, theatre veteran and Dev Anand's niece.
