Shillong, Nov. 15 -- The much-awaited Shillong Cherry Blossom Festival 2025 began today evening at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium here in this mountainous state capital of Meghalaya.
The two-day festival has turned Shillong into a citywide celebration from Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium to Ward's Lake, with live concerts, art pop-ups, culinary experiences, and immersive cultural showcases.
"The Cherry Blossom Festival is back, and bigger than ever! The crowd sang their hearts out with @thescript and danced to electrifying performances by Nora Fatehi and @jasonderulo," Chief Minister Conrad Sangma said.
