Jaipur, Sept. 17 -- Over 662 historic havelis in the districts of Sikar, Jhunjhunu, and Churu have been identified for inclusion under the Shekhawati Haveli Conservation Scheme, aimed at making the region even more attractive to tourists.

Shekhawati, a favourite tourist destination that recorded a footfall of 1.9 crore visitors in the first half of the current year, is renowned for its heritage havelis (mansions).
