Hubballi, Jan. 7 -- Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat on Wednesday strongly criticised sloganeering against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah at the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) campus, calling the incident "unfortunate".

He also made an apparent indirect reference to Lok Sabha Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi.

Speaking to reporters here, Shekhawat said the conduct of senior political leaders was more painful than the actions of students.
