Betul, Sept. 15 -- A shehnai player's corpse was fished out of a pond in this district's Kotwali Police Station limits, police today said.
The deceased, identified as Raju Chouhan (50), was employed with a local band.
According to the police, Chouhan left home on Friday but failed to return. Around 6:00 pm yesterday, villagers spotted his body floating in the Khedi pond and alerted law-enforcement authorities.
