London, Dec. 2 -- Sheffield Wednesday has been handed another six-point deduction by the English Football League (EFL) for multiple regulation breaches, further deepening its relegation crisis in the Championship.
The club's former owner Dejphon Chansiri has also been issued a three-year prohibition from owning or serving as a director of any EFL club.
The Owls had already been docked 12 points in October after entering administration.
Although investigations into the club's conduct during the ongoing season are continuing, the EFL has indicated it does not intend to impose further point deductions, the club confirmed.
