Kolkata, Nov. 29 -- Driven largely by a sharp fall in shipments to the US and a high base effect, India's engineering goods exports declined a whopping 16.71 percent year-on-year in October 2025 to US$9.37 billion, according to EEPC India.

Engineering goods exports to many key markets recorded negative growth in October 2025, with the ASEAN region recording a nearly 50 pc decline to USD1.02 billion. Engineering goods exports to as many as 15 of the 25 key destinations registered negative growth during October 2025.
