Pune, Nov. 13 -- In the upcoming municipal elections, both factions of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) - led by Sharad Pawar and Ajit Pawar - are expected to come together and contest jointly in the Pimpri-Chinchwad municipal elections.
Preliminary discussions between Ajit Pawar and Supriya Sule have already taken place, and the final decision will be made after a meeting between Sharad Pawar and Ajit Pawar, according to NCP (Ajit Pawar faction) said city president Yogesh Behl.
He claimed that Ajit Pawar himself had informed him of this development.
