Shimla, Dec. 5 -- After a gap of 54 years, the Shanti Maha Yagya commenced this week at the historic Nageshwar temple in Jhadag village, Jubbal in the district, infusing the entire region with renewed spiritual fervour. The deity's ceremonial arrival on the opening day drew an overwhelming gathering of devotees from remote villages, who thronged the temple complex on Thursday afternoon.
Durga Mata Hatkoti entered the Raas Mandal first, followed by deity Dhaunlu, who traditionally breaks the Mandal.
