Darbhanga, Oct. 7 -- Launching what he termed a "spiritual-political movement to revive Sanatan values", Jagadguru Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati today announced that his followers will field independent 'Gau Bhakt' (cow devotee) candidates in all constituencies for the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections.

Addressing a massive Dharma Sabha at Govindpur in Darbhanga, Shankaracharya Avimukteshwaranand said the campaign aims to give political voice to the cause of cow protection, which he described as essential to preserving India's faith, culture, and social fabric.
