Pune, Oct. 28 -- Showcasing the divine stories and praises of Lord Jagannath through the classical Odissi dance form, Shalvi Chougule, a student of Grade 6 from Dhruv Global School, Nande, has won the first prize in the Junior Category of the Odissi Dance Competition.
The competition was part of the World Performing Arts Championship - Season 5, organized by the Akhil Natarajan Intercultural Association, Nagpur, in collaboration with the International Dance Council (CID), Paris-France.
Shalvi performed under the guidance of her mentor Subhashree Rautaray. The event was conducted online, featuring participants from across the globe.
