Kangra, Oct. 22 -- Inspired by the Chief Minister's Sukhashraya Yojana, Shahpur MLA and Deputy Chief Whip Kewal Singh Pathania has established the Shahpur Welfare Society to assist poor and needy families.
Pathania claimed his life is dedicated to public service, and through this society, he has already extended financial assistance worth several lakh rupees to hundreds of underprivileged families.
During a programme organized at the Forest Rest House in Rait, Pathania distributed cheques to various needy families as Diwali assistance. He presented Rs 50,000 each to Ichha Devi (Rait), Prito Devi (Gujreda, Manei) for medical treatment, and Swarn Devi (Palwala); Rs 21,000 to Veena Devi (Durgela); and another Rs 21,000 to the Rotary Club Sha...
