Patna, Sept. 18 -- Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar met Home Minister and senior BJP leader Amit Shah today to discuss the NDA's strategy for the upcoming state assembly elections.

During their meeting, Kumar and Shah reportedly deliberated on the alliance's poll strategy, with seat sharing between BJP and JD(U) likely being a key point.

As the major partners of the NDA in Bihar, the BJP and JD(U) are expected to finalize seat-sharing arrangements, with JD(U) potentially allocating seats to HAM from its quota and the BJP sharing seats with RLM and LJP(R) from its own quota. The Bihar Assembly consists of 243 members.
