Nizamabad (Telangana), June 29 -- Union Home Minister Amit Shah inaugurated the National Turmeric Board in Nizamabad district of Telangana on Sunday, marking a significant step towards supporting turmeric farmers and boosting exports.
On the occasion, he also unveiled the official logo of the board, symbolising a new era of agricultural innovation and global competitiveness for turmeric cultivation in India.
Addressing the gathering, Amit Shah reaffirmed the Centre's commitment to the welfare of turmeric farmers, noting that Nizamabad is regarded as the turmeric capital of the country.
