New Delhi, May 21 -- Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Wednesday applauded the security forces for successfully neutralising 27 dreaded Maoists, including Nambala Keshav Rao, the general secretary of CPI-Maoist topmost leader and the backbone of the Naxal movement in an operation in Chhattisgarh's Narayanpur.
The Home Minister on his social media handle X shared that after completion of Operation Black Forest, 54 Naxalites have been arrested and 84 Naxalites surrendered in Chhattisgarh, Telangana, and Maharashtra.
He reaffirmed the Modi government is resolved to eliminate Naxalism before 31st March, 2026.
