New Delhi, Feb. 3 -- Following the India- US trade deal, resulting in a reduced tariff of 18 per cent, Home Minister Amit Shah has called it a "big day" for the relations between the two nations.
Shah noted that the deal will pave the way for stronger trade ties, as well as of mutual growth between the two countries.
Calling the deal 'historic,' the HM taking to social media platform X, stated that it will elevate the strategic partnership between India and the United States of America, and is going to benefit both the nations and the citizens.
"Business between India and the US to flourish further," Shah added.
The HM minister also congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the president of the United States Donald Trump.
