SGI Q4 premium jumps 25 pc to Rs 1,099 crore
Jaipur, May 12 -- Shriram General Insurance Company (SGI) on Monday reported a 25 per cent year-on-year rise in its Gross Written Premium (GWP) for the fourth quarter of FY25, which stood at Rs 1,099 crore, compared to Rs 876 crore in the same period last year, driven largely by strong growth in its motor insurance segment.
The motor segment alone contributed Rs 1,031 crore during Q4, registering a 27 per cent growth.
Other segments such as personal accident and miscellaneous insurance posted year-on-year increases of 11 per cent and 75 per cent respectively. However, the fire and engineering segments declined by 17 per cent and 13 per cent respectively.
