New Delhi, March 28 -- With a view to streamline freight emission tracking, global non-profit organisation Smart Freight Centre (SFC) has unveiled the India-specific Global Logistics Emeissions Council values recently to align with the world's best practices in GHG emissions tracking.
Developed in collaboration with the TCI-IIMB Supply Chain Sustainability Lab at IIM Bangalore, this initiative aligns with global best practices in GHG emissions tracking while catering to India's unique logistics landscape, SFC said in a release.
The GLEC Framework, recognized as the leading global methodology for freight transport emissions accounting, serves as a comprehensive guide for shippers, carriers, and logistics service providers.
