Imphal, March 20 -- Security forces conducted successful operations across Manipur on Thursday, recovering a significant cache of arms and apprehending an insurgent cadre in separate incidents.
In Chandel district, a joint operation in the general area of Molcham village under Molcham Police Station led to the recovery of a substantial quantity of weapons and war-like stores.
According to official sources, the seized items included one AK-47 rifle with two magazines, a 9mm carbine machine gun (CMG) with a magazine, two grenade detonators, two additional magazines of different arms, two grenades, and 194 rounds of ammunition.
