Mumbai, May 21 -- The Mumbai police on Wednesday busted a prostitution racket and rescued a struggling female model from a hotel in Andheri area of the city, officials said.
The Amboli police took the action based on a tip-off, they said.
"Following specific information, the police laid a trap at the hotel on Veera Desai Road in Andheri. and apprehended a man, identified as Sarfaraz alias Mohammad Gulab Phoolbabu Sheikh, a resident of Versova in Andheri. , for pushing women into flesh trade. one female model was rescued," an official said.
