Dimapur, Dec. 22 -- : Several commercial establishments at Series Colony in Kohima were damaged in a fire on Monday, an Assam Rifles release said.
However, no loss of life or serious injuries were reported in the incident.
The exact cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
On receiving information, Assam Rifles responded promptly and immediately. The force rushed water bowser along with adequate manpower to the site and worked in close coordination with the local fire services and civil administration, providing critical support in firefighting operations.
