Chennai, May 17 -- Rainfall occurred at many places over North Tamilnadu and at isolated places over South Tamilnadu and over Puducherry and Karaikal area due to the presence of an upper air cyclonic circulation over the bay.
Met office on Saturday said there was fall in maximum temperature by 1-3 Deg C at a few places over Tamilnadu and rise by 1-3 Deg C at isolated places over Tamilnadu and Karaikal area.
It said maximum temperatures were above normal by 2 Deg C at isolated places over Tamilnadu. They were in the range of 35-41 Deg C over North Interior Tamilnadu; 37-38 Deg C over South
