Imphal, Jan. 6 -- The People's Progressive Alliance Manipur (PPAM), an umbrella organisation formed by seventeen civil society organisations of Manipur, has alleged that the Government of India of attempting to replicate in Manipur the political process that led to the dismantling of Jammu and Kashmir in 2019.
PPAM said in a statement on Tuesday said that the abrogation of Article 370, the splitting of Jammu and Kashmir into two union Territories while it was under President's Rule, and the imposition of an unprecedented communications blackout formed a "dangerous playbook" that now appears to be resurfacing in Manipur.
