Hapur, Feb. 25 -- A tragic incident in Hapur district of Uttar Pradesh has highlighted serious shortcomings in local traffic management after a seven-year-old girl allegedly died when she was caught in a traffic jam while being rushed to hospital.
The incident occurred in the Mohalla Phoolgarhi area of Hapur city, where a weekly roadside market had caused heavy congestion. The victim, Isha, daughter of Jan Mohammad and a resident of Gulawathi in Bulandshahr district, had been staying at her grandmother's home in Hapur.
