Hamirpur, Sept. 25 -- Seven students were injured this morning when an e-rickshaw they were travelling in overturned in Uttar Pradesh's Hamirpur district.
The incident took place around 9:00 am near the Bargawan turn on the Sarila-Mamna road. The vehicle, carrying students from Maharajpur to GIC School in Sarila, lost control and fell into a roadside ditch. Three of the injured students are in serious condition.
According to eyewitnesses, the e-rickshaw's steering handle suddenly jammed while navigating the turn, causing it to become uncontrollable. Local residents immediately rescued the children and took them to the Community Health Centre (CHC) in Sarila for treatment.
