Aizawl, May 18 -- Seven Myanmar nationals, believed to be refugees taking shelter in Champhai town along the India-Myanmar border, were recently detained by local volunteers of the Young Mizo Association (YMA) and handed over to an armed Chin insurgent group in neighbouring Myanmar, YMA leaders said. The individuals, all ethnic Chins from Myanmar's Chin State, were reportedly staying in Champhai district, which shares a porous and mountainous border with Myanmar.
