Lucknow, March 14 -- The Uttar Pradesh government on Friday night ordered the transfer of seven IPS officers, including the in-charges of four districts, as part of an administrative reshuffle in the state police department.

According to the official order, Dr. Brijesh Kumar Singh, who was serving as Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) in Badaun, has been transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police (SP), Logistics, Uttar Pradesh. He replaces Om Prakash Singh (1), who has now been appointed as the new SP of Kansganj, in place of Ankita Sharma, who has been posted as the new SSP of Badaun.
