Patna, Oct. 3 -- Ahead of Bihar assembly elections, the state government today transferred seven IAS officers. According to the notification issued this evening Chandrasekhar Singh, Commissioner, Patna Division, (Secretary, Disaster Management Department, Bihar, Patna) has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Chief Minister's Secretariat.
Singh will continue to hold additional charge of Secretary, Disaster Management Department and additional charge of Chairman, Bihar State Bridge Construction Corporation Limited, Patna until further orders.
Singh has been replaced by Animesh Kumar Parashar who has been appointed as the new Commissioner of Patna Division. He will also continue to hold the additional charge of Managing Director (MD), ...
