Jaipur, Aug. 13 -- In a shocking incident, at least 11 people, including seven children, were killed and 12 others were injured when the pick-up van they were travelling in rammed into a stationary container truck in Dausa district, Rajasthan, in the early hours today.
The police and hospital sources said that a group of devotees were returning home after paying obeisance at the Khatu ShyamJi Dham in Sikar district, when their vehicle rammed into a container truck parked outside a roadside hotel.
The victims were residents of Asroli town, Etah district, Uttar Pradesh.
The accident occurred near Basedi by-pass culvert on the Dausa-Manoharpur State Highway, around 3 am today.
