Setback for PMK Founder, HC gives nod for son Anbumani's GC meet tomorrow

Chennai, Aug. 8 -- In what could be seen as a major setback for PMK Founder Dr.S.Ramadoss amid deepening leadership row with his son, the Madras High Court allowed Dr Anbumani to go ahead with the General Council Meeting scheduled for tomorrow.

Dismissing the petition filed by the PMK Founder, Mr Justice N Anand Venkatesh after hearing both of them in camera in his chamber, with Anbumani appearing in person and his dad via video-conferencing citing health issues, passed the order against the plea filed by Dr Ramadoss challenging the GC convened by his son in his capacity as the Pary president duly elected by the General Council.

Lawyers, who represented the PMK Founder said they will file an appeal against the order.
